Mounted on an elaborate wood stand with turned supports and ball feet, the globe comes omplete with printed horizon ring, functioning dry compass, and bronze meridian circle. -- The globe is hand made on a paper mach core, built up of twelve delicately colored gores, with polar calottes, and the oceans aare decorated with sailing ships. -- Size: 20"W x 17 1/2".
