Mounted on a full horizon and meridian base, the globe can be positioned accurately for sky viewing from any time or location. An internal, movable 4? Earth globe and rotating sun further facilitate viewer orientation of the star map. Principal stars to the fifth magnitude, constellations, ascension/declination scales, and ecliptic are printed in four colors on the inside of the globe, making it easy to mark and clean the acrylic surface.
